It's been a very sunny afternoon in Shandon, and an equally sunny response talking to voters who have, or are, voting for #voteQ1 today.

Fantastic to join other Edinburgh Green Councillors campaigning for our candidate Q today in Hutchison. A very positive response to them from residents.

It was great to be able to talk to voters in Fountainbridge yesterday. There was a fantastic response for our candidate, Q. Q will be a brilliant Councillor.

Over the internal campaign period, I will post here about what I have helped the party to achieve and what policies I would prioritise as a candidate + MSP. First up is a summary of some policy changes I have won (and helped to win, as part of a broader group) as a Cllr and staff member.

I am seeking selection as a Scottish Green candidate in next year's Scottish Parliament election. As a Councillor and staff member, I have a strong track record of developing local and national policies that are making Scotland Greener and fairer.

Today, Scottish Greens introduced a bill to end greyhound racing in Scotland for good.
