A Real Pain
Using the lack of any good releases in January to catch up to a bunch of movies from 2024. So far it's been a great run of back to back incredible films. There's still a ton to watch though!

Just saw 'The Colors Within' in theaters.
It's another example of why Naoko Yamada is one of my favorite directors. There's a tenderness to her expertly and vividly crafted visuals, the emotion in each movement, the care in each shot. Beautiful film.
That planet song is such a bop too!
Watching trailers and it just ruins it every time I hear what's obviously a line of dialogue edited from different sentences, like it's jarring as heck... why do they keep doing this?
22.11.2024 04:28 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Saw Gladiator 2 on IMAX yesterday. I was liking the story throughout the first half, but when certain subplots kick in, that's when it gets more interesting and I really loved it.
The set pieces are also stunning. Incredible production design here, as expected from a Ridley Scott historical epic.
Only time will tell if I'll be more active here, but the 300 letter limit is already a plus compared to twitter's 280.
