Whelp, ten years at this company, laid off because my boss is a sociopath.
TechBro purge of anybody who didn't kiss the ring across my org, and I got axed. Right before Christmas too, really cool.
This has really been the worst year of my life dude.

I had one stressful day last week and my right eyelid has been twitching ever since and I think imma go insane now

I anxietied myself so hard that my body now shakes and my muscles twitch even when I'm not anxious. Neuro says it could be up to a year before it fixes itself.

I'm still suffering from side effects of a "low side effect" anti-anxiety drug i took for a month and got off of like a month ago. I have horrible hand and leg tremors that make it hard to do stuff.
Point being, if you get weird side effects from mental health drugs, just drop that shit.

It's been two months since my health incident and I still have no idea what is causing it. Can somebody please just MRI my neck or spine since I'm 90% sure that's the cause of this? How many doctors do I gotta see before insurance plays ball? Ugh.

Well my nerves aren't damaged (yay) but that doesn't tell me what's still happening to me. Neurologist thinks it's pericarditis but the cardiologist isn't for another week. The fact this takes so damn long just to get no answers is the most frustrating bit.

Thanks, I've been on antianxiety meds before but dropped them last year and didn't have any big episodes until now. This is probably the worst I've ever had so it being new territory from the physical standpoint was terrifying. But hey I learned something to apply for next time!

There are some positives however. I'm exercising and stretching more and working on fixing posture to prevent things from happening again. I'm on anti-anxiety meds again. I'm eating healthier. I'm meditating again. Just trying to improve things overall.

Overall, I am doing much better, though the reason is still unknown and I still fall into anxiety loops, though not as severe and I can usually break free. Extra frustrating was it cut all enjoyment out of anything I do, meaning all I "want" to do is sit around and stew in misery

What I learned:
1. For the love of god, never google symptoms, just go to the doctor
2. Sometimes going to the ER might have been worth the money for the peace of mind
3. Don't buy anything to check anything at home if you have anxiety, it'll send you in an obsession spiral

Thankfully the severe side pain ended day 1, though twinges and minor pokes still happen. Most of what is currently plaguing me I imagine is the physiological result of having a nearly three week combo of panic and anxiety attacks, which is still hard to shake.

Finally got some anxiety meds this week, though side effects include everything mentioned above when you start off (lol). Am doing generally better. Have a cardiologist appointment in a few weeks just to be sure. Still hurt, still anxious, still don't have concrete answers.

Have appt with neurologist (hasn't happened yet) but by this point panic and anxiety were out of control and manifesting as physical symptoms (tight chest, short breath, lightheadedness, sweating, cramping, palpitations...etc).
I was in an anxiety spiral and couldn't get out.

Three weeks ago woke to excruciating side pain that radiated from chest to back. Though it was cardiac and had a massive anxiety and panic attack. Went to urgent care, GP, concluded probably not cardiac but nerves. Still was twinging with pain.
