"I wanted to come out an' see the fireflies, and I also wanted to see ya'."

[Taking her waist in their arm, Chance begins to walk her back to the camp.]

"So err.. Thank you, AND ya welcome." [They grin.]

[Chance raises an eyebrow and thumbs at the coin in their offhand.]

"Mm? I supposed I offered, but I wouldn't be up now either if I had the option, haha."

[Taking her hand firmly, they get to their feet and try to brush off as much dirty from his jacket as he can.]

"Thank you for comin' out, by the way. I know it's not very smart wanderin' around out here at night.

I'll walk ya' back when you're ready, just say the word."

"Ahaha sure, of course I'm just so intimidating."

[Giggling, Chance leans forward and places a hand on their chest, trying not to laugh too loud and actually scare the fireflies off.

Eventually, as they calm themself down, Chance leans back against Guest as they catch their breath.]

"I always heard about them in fairytales an' stuff as a kid but I didn't really believe they could glow."

[As Guest leans over and bumps Chance, he gasps playfully, and nudges her back.]

"Ay, Careful there lass, you don't want to scare them off do ya? Haha"

[Scratching their beard, Chance takes off his shades. Too dark to see much of anything with them on, now that they're away from the cabins.]

[He shuffles back slightly, and plops his butt down. Grimacing as the moisture soaks through their pants.]

"Ohh..Ya' didn't warn me the grass up 'ere was wet too."

[Chance squats down beside her with a grin, rolling up their sleeve to run their fingers in the stream for a moment.]

"Y'know, I never saw fireflies before gettin' stuck here–
For a place where we spend most our time fightin' tooth and nail, it's still a nice change of pace..for me." [He chuckles.]

"I hope I didn't keep ya' waiting too long. It's chilly out 'ere."

[Chance stuffs their phone in their pocket and wades his way through the trees. Fixing his tie and trying not to trip on any of the flora underfoot, they break the tree line and spot Guest.

He elects to flip a coin to get her attention, rather than just popping up out of dark, and chuckles.]

"Goodnight, Guest." [A genuine smile plastered across Chance's face as they begin to drift off. Safe in her unbothered arms as they fall asleep together in the lobby.]
