NO DM’s please! A dreg that Govt would remove from society. #Don’tLookUp - prescient film. George Michael had this pegged - “And it's hard to love There's so much to hate”

It's properly unconscionable that the Home Office has created this situation. It should never have been allowed to happen and once it did happen it should have been immediately reversed.

Dr. Jane Goodall filmed an interview with Netflix in March 2025 that she understood would only be released after her death.

We’re all watching the fall of America under the Trump regime, it’s horrifying & shocking in equal measure, a lunatic has been given the keys to destroy democracy, & has nukes.
So, with this in mind, here in the UK, the Tories & Reform are chomping at the bit to have some of that fascism over here…

The people (Tories and Reform) who tell you your rights are safe if we leave the ECHR as they’ll replace them with British laws also told you our trade, borders and NHS was safe if we left the EU because they’d negotiate amazing trade deals, take control of our borders and fix the NHS…..

Just as the Labour party is complicit in Brexit so is the Labour party also complicit in the rise of Reform. Labour tried to appease the Brexit voters and even adopted the same far right-wing anti-immigration rhetoric. I know this is difficult to swallow for Labour voters. Time to face the truth.

Farage‘s problem is straightforward: Seeing as no-one can make Brexit work he doubles down and poisons immigration policy (which is a mess because of Brexit) with a huge dose xenophobia and anti-EU hysteria. After all, to admit he was wrong would be to admit that his life’s work has been as disaster

It was always “the long game” and expecting him and Swinson to pull something out of the hat. Another referendum perhaps. Certainly not a blasted election

We flounced out of the EU on the say-so of politicians who lied to us. And what a total shitshow that’s turned out to be. The polar opposite of what they promised. Now the call to flounce out of the ECHR. By the same people. Telling the same lies. Has the country been kicked in the head by a horse?

The truth: Russia’s fingerprints are all over Brexit and Reform UK.

Farage’s spin machine keeps selling “sovereignty”… while his top lieutenants were literally on Moscow’s payroll.

But only the NYT is telling the full story.

Why is 🇬🇧 press so quiet on this?

The Greens aren't the only worthwhile alternative to Labour, the Lib Dems are also worth a shot.

Moral of the story is, don't vote Tory / Reform / Labour if you want the UK to improve.

Keir Starmer to warn labour that battle with reform is fight for the soul of the nation.

These are two people who I don't want to "win the soul of the nation".

We've seen reforms policies and actions and are rightly against it. But what has labour done for the soul of the nation. 1/4

Britain needs ‘wholesale change’, Andy Burnham says in challenge to Keir Starmer The Greater Manchester mayor is being talked up for a parliamentary comeback to take over from Keir Starmer with Labour struggling in the polls

I agree with Andy Burnham about the need for ‘wholesale change’ but for him to be taken seriously we need some meat on the bones, concrete proposals and in particular on Brexit an area Labour is terrified to touch but that could be transformational for the UK.

Farage’s plan to scrap indefinite leave could collapse the NHS…

Which would be incredibly good news for someone wanting us to move to an ‘insurance based system’

FYI the average American pays £480 per month for private healthcare

Please wake up folks.

In the late 19th century, millions of migrants left Germany as a result of religious persecution, economic hardship, and political uncertainty.

Among them was Nikolaus Schrod, a cabinet maker from Frankfurt who - along with his wife Bina - moved to London to start a new life in the 1850s. 1/3
