Let’s be clear about what Alberta is proposing:

BC loses billions of dollars of major projects from private investors.

AND Canadian taxpayers are forced to pay billions more because there is no interest from a private company.

That’s not fair. And fairness is a Canadian value.

Holy 💩. So the BC Cons' position on infrastructure projects is that they would cancel projects that are already underway, starting with the Pattullo Bridge replacement (which is almost complete!!).

So basically: Cut everything. Cut bridges, transit, schools, hospitals, cancer centres. Ok. Noted.

From forestry workers here in BC to small business owners in Washington State, Trump’s actions are hurting workers and families on both sides of the border. 

Thank you, Senator @murray.senate.gov, for joining me today in standing against these tariff threats.

We’re better when we work together.

BC and Manitoba are knocking down trade barriers so our goods can flow back and forth with ease, while ensuring our workers are protected.
