When 400 people control more wealth than half a country’s population, we have a very serious problem.

Sometimes we need a moment, but if you tune out completely, they win. Fascism doesn’t need your support, just your silence.

I feel like a broken record, but I have to keep saying it over and over again: a farmer bailout won’t do much of anything because the market is gone. There will be no incentive to plant next year.

The bailout will help payoff farmer debt to the banks. That’s all.

The hardest part of inertia isn’t the undone task.

It’s the shame story that wraps itself around the stuckness.

That old voice whispering: you’re lazy, you’re failing, you should be able to.

Sometimes the work isn’t finishing the thing.

It’s staying with ourselves when we can’t.

It’s ok to change your mind when you realize you were wrong.

It doesn't matter if they are ever coming for you.

It was always ever already too much that they were coming for anyone.

Trans youth deserve the health care they need, no matter what state they live in.

Something just hit me. Trump’s tactics might have just awakened a sleeping giant.

All day, I’ve been seeing clips of children of immigrants newly activated: speaking up and pushing back harder than their parents ever could.

Future voters.

Part of what it looks like to *save ourselves* is for folks to take over our library, park, water and other local boards. Get leftists on there who can make decisions that benefit the working class. We can do that because few people actually pay attention to those levers of power.

Today they have crossed a deep red line.

We, the people, must hold the president and his appointees accountable for this outrageous abuse against American liberty.

The disparity btwn what’s actually happening in Los Angeles and the way it’s being mischaracterized is one of the biggest stress tests of modern media in recent memory. Botted socials, AI, old clips, declining literacy—it’s like seeing a broken emergency response system hit by a storm.

I don't understand how some folks are unable to see that the illegal disappearing of people is a class issue. The wealthy and well-connected get due process. The rest of us don't. This is part of the oligarchy, not a distraction from it.
