I just wiped hemorrhoid cream on a quails booty 😅

Story: I have a 3 month old quail that I checked on & saw she had a prolapse, but could tell she was still pooping. After research and calls, the cream has been a huge help 💜

This is our 12 week old silver fox rabbit Loki. He got that name because of the mischievous things he seems to always be up to, we love him though and I can’t wait to see how he is as our main silver fox buck.

That makes a lot of sense! My white one is a Tamuk. My silver foxes are a breed I adore but also will be great since my kids are interested in going into 4H and they can use some as show rabbits 💜

Sounds like we have very similar plans haha..what rabbit breeds are you planning on getting? We have one chinchilla, one tamuk, one New Zealand Rex cross, 2 New Zealand Californian cross, and a pedigreed silver fox trio. Can’t wait for spring for our garden 💜

Fact of the day:

Store bought eggs can be 4-6 weeks old before you purchase them at the store.

While eggs do have a fairly long life, nothing beats farm fresh eggs!

People choose to create a homestead/farm for many different reasons; self sufficiency & taking care of their family are major ones.
Alongside supply chain issues, we’re also able to know exactly how our animals were taken care of & how our gardens were tended to.

My new cage from Wynola Ranch came in today and my oldest girls have moved into it.
Having their food and water where they can’t step in it is pretty nice!

I have one consistent egg layer out of my now 6 week olds and today’s egg was massive in comparison to the past few days eggs!

I recently hatched my first mixed feather sexable quail eggs.
I was hoping for a pearl (white and black feathers) in the mix, and as their feathers are developing, I’m excited that this one is looking like it’ll be a pearl! 🐣
