Rest assured, our apology was for scaring anyone with the look of our characters (and was firmly tongue in cheek). The character designs in ElfQuest are deliberately "other" to visually communicate that they're not human. Humans respond to that with fear or worship, both in-story and in real life.

ElfQuest is an amazing story and not for it I'd be a different person. I suggest to everyone I can to read it. I will definitely be getting me this asap but if you can't all you got to do is go to ElfQuest. It's there for free and wonderful. After if you like it but printed copies.

ElfQuest cameo in DC Comics Presents issue 52.

ElfQuest cameo in The Uncanny X-Men issue 153.

We never get tired of these ElfQuest nods from our fellow creators. Skywise appeared in the Macy's Day Parade in DC Comics Presents #52 and Kitty sported her ElfQuest shirt in Uncanny X-Men #153, both from 1982.

ElfQuest - Fantasy with Teeth ElfQuest is the long running award-winning comic book and graphic novel fantasy series created by Wendy and Richard Pini in 1978.

In ElfQuest's long history (going on 48 years) more than half of it was first published in black and white, even though we later collected those stories in color graphic novels. Thanks for the mention! ElfQuest.com
