I predict removing the tax will spike demand which will clear stock faster than the supply chain can react resulting in higher prices to get stock destined for other countries, or worse empty shelves. And there is nothing to stop the tariffs being put back on again once there is a rarity bump, too.

If the answer to the question "Is this real?" is "Not yet", then the thing it is about may be inevitable.

If anything this changes the perception of those intimidating lamp post flags, doesn't it? From their desired "Patriot" maybe "Nationalist" or even "Racist" to "Sucker", "Fool" and "Victim" - I can see two flags from my window and all I see now is a blazing advert that someone was suckered in. 1/2

So it may only bring prices down short term until the additional unscheduled demand clears stock, at which point it's pay growers more until supply can react and ramp up again. So not a quick fix, and that's assuming tariffs are not reapplied later which would then compound short supply prices. 2/2

I think Soap writers are stuck in the past, i haven't seen one where the residents of the area try as hard as physically possible to ignore the hell out of each other which has been every road I've lived on since 2002. Get with he times!

Panel 6 - close up on the microwave timer, "MMM" ends with a "BING!", speech bubble below the timer says "FUCK!"

Lovely letter! I have a Christmas morning tradition of going to the mini-mart to get batteries for the toys Santa got my kids and didn't include them, the cheapskate bastard. I gaze upon the ashen-grey faces of those forced to work Xmas day and hope my presence has validated their lives somehow.

This is why most people i know who game on them now have 2+ phones. When they get to 80% they just pick up a new one with the minimum specs they need. What a waste when a decent storage handset is, basically, an extra $60 in production costs not thousands.

Those who use the term in a derogatory way have a problem: They won. With DEI initiatives falling victim to false claims of positive discrimination (not being bias against certain traits isn't the same as discriminating in favour certain traits) the negative use of 'woke' has little clout anymore 🤔

I was delighted to find my folding camp chairs could be used anywhere outdoors, not just in a camp, and I can even use them indoors! Disappointingly to both me and my proctologist, the same cannot be said for the folded/unfolded status of the furniture.
