Reports from Gaza indicate that the unit sneaked into the camp inside a truck carrying humanitarian aid that came from the floating pier.

Francesca Albanese, the UN special rapporteur to Palestine, said that Israeli and allegedly foreign soldiers were “perfidiously hiding in an aid truck” during the hostage rescue operation.

If true, and I imagine Albanese wouldn’t say this lightly, that’s absolutely perfidy - a serious war crime.

They were among those kidnapped by Hamas during the Nova music festival on Oct. 7. President Joe Biden welcomed the hostage release while speaking in Paris saying, “We won’t stop working until all the hostages come home and a cease-fire is reached. That is essential to happen.” An Israeli special forces officer was killed during the operation, according to Israeli police.

I guess writing over 200 palestinians were killed to save four hostages and that they also killed some of the hostages AND that they dressed as humanitarian aid workers to do this (allegedly) is not fit for a summary
