This poster says that "Pussy is a social institution in Sweden". Dunno if that's true, any Swedes out there to confirm it?

I'm reading "Natural Causes" by Nina Lykke atm. It's pretty different from what I usually read but I'm enjoying it a lot. It's incredibly sharp in some passages on modern society. Has anybody here on #blueski read it? 📚👀

I don't know about Dems, as I'm not American and I don't follow American politics so much that I can tell you how Dems are or think. I know for sure that I'm not interested in having chats with single-minded ppl. But so far I found very interesting and smart guys here

That's my point. There are some things that we should all agree on and then there are many more on which we can disagree. But we must speak to each other

But imho I don't think that that's good. We don't need another bubble just for the people who think like us. We need a place (and I hope that @bsky.app will be that place) where people with different views can finally have a normal respectful interaction. Even when they disagree. What do you think?

It's really sad, annoying and depressing to see so many people online (even here on #blueski) who are unwilling or unable to have a civil and respectful conversation with another person.
