It's a roguelike space game , if you like ED/Eve and RL's , I'd wholly recommend it.

Hotds is the correct reference! In fact Catharage is inspired most directly by its in-development state that used to be called Enemy Starfighter and was structurally much closer to what Catharage is now. Glad to hear you like the game!
