The first Thanksgiving and Christmas after my dad passed were rough. My thoughts are with you and your family ❤️

Many thanks to you, my #AT40 friends, for your expressions of sympathy as I process my cousin's imminent passing. I really love this group – you've comforted me through many medical challenges, and now this. We have truly built a special community, and I'm very grateful ❤️

I get it! My dad was an artist (painting) who also had perfect pitch and passed it on to me- I thought everybody had it!

I sang harmony & played guitar on Why Me Lord in a trio of freshmen in my dorm at U of MD...had never heard it before, but I enjoyed the harmonies. Fun times 😁 #AT40

Voo. The real name of the place was the rendezvous Inn- but everybody called it the Vous

Hearing Beast of Burden transports me right back to fall, 1978 – hanging out with my friends on Friday afternoon at The Vous (across Rte 1 from campus- U of MD College Park). We never scheduled any classes after 1 PM on Friday because it was expected that we would meet at the Vous at 2 PM #AT40

That's absolutely worth getting grounded for!

I saw them in Frederick, MD in the mid 90s and they were still fantastic ❤️

I knew the band leader who wrote Hail to the Redskins (Barney Breeskin)-he was a customer in a store I worked at in 1979-81- he gave me an autographed copy of the sheet music 😁

Fall 1972- 7th grade, and I was obsessed with these guys – my Washington Redskins- on their way to their first Super Bowl. So many of the songs on this countdown I associate with that 1972 Redskins season #AT40
