Engagement-farming "creators" showed up in Springfield, Ohio, didn't find any good content to share, so they alleged with no evidence that the people who are helping Haitian community were actually child traffickers. Now church leaders are getting threats and schools were even shut down.

Finding no large-scale enforcement action by ICE agents on the street, TikTok creators, who presented themselves as pro-immigrant and anti-deportation, cited reports from “actual Springfield locals” that the groups helping Haitians were refusing them aid. 🤪
