Saybin, a anthro blue Aerusan dragon rests his head on the edge of a pool deck after a hard workout and swim. The anthro dragons body floats loosely in the water as he rests his head on his arms, fatigue fisiable as the light shines through from a window. He is loose and spread out, muscles relaxed and post-fatigue hitting hard!

I might be mistaken in my snake identification! It could be a corn snake, whose markings seem to match. However, this was a larger noodle than I'm used to seeing (max 1-1.5in diameter), so I'm unsure if a corn snake would be that big. He was a solid medium!

If they show up at a potluck, I always get one as soon as I can, then wait a bit to make sure everyone got theirs before going in for seconds and thirds

Good to know! I just got an SB-400 and am kinda shocked how good the photos look from bounced flash (I've been using environmental lighting my whole life).

Question for photographers at conventions!

How much of a social faux pas is it to use a flash for taking photos of cosplayers/fursuiters? There's a convention coming up and most of it has *terrible* lighting.

It’s an interface for external accessories. These can be clamped onto connector modules along key areas." There's a small drawing of the strip showing the connector, and one more with a bag attached. "The second half of this system is the visor. Unlike the control strip, the visor isn’t permanently integrated into the body and can be worn by individuals whenever they choose to. Apart from its functionality as communication device, it also wirelessly connects to the control strip, visualizes the status of both internal augmentations and external accessories, and even lets the user control them." There's a small drawing afterwards of Areon wearing a black visor with white shapes rendered on its surface resembling eyes and nostrils.

It always makes me feel sick that people can find comfort that something like this is "unlikely" to pass.

If it's unlikely, why the fuck is it even on the table in the first place? Just the fact that it's being considered should be enough for people to protest this.

Smaugust 2025, days 11-12: cup & teapot. Even the mightiest, most ancient dragons need a break sometimes, and I prefer to take it with a nice cup of tea.
I combined two days because there's work trips incoming and I can't draw during them. I'm still trying to finish some doodles in advance though.

It's always a relief to come home after a 2 week trip and see that the house is still in order after being unattended for so long. Whew.
