Okay, so it seems like Lunistice 1.0 will get one more update (I'm calling it 1.1), which it's mostly a systems upgrade to finally fully merge the two codebases for 1.0 and Accel Coda (ver.2.0).
This way I'll be able to deliver a clean update (or free DLC, we'll see) when Accel Coda is ready.

It's not quite how I envisioned it to go, but that means that when I release Accel Coda I won't have to ship basically two games at once (since I wanted to allow people to switch between 1.0 and Accel Coda on all platforms).
This does mean that the classic version of Lunistice (1.0) will change a little bit!

Lunistice 1.1 will basically be 1.0 with:

- more stable physics (with 1.0 values, so should feel the same)
- new UI
- the improved grind rail system from Accel Coda
- generally more optimization
- the โ€œAccel Codaโ€œ way of collecting secrets (files can now be collected on their own, but to read them youโ€™ll need a key!)
- some new assets from Accel Coda

Everything else will still be 1.0 though! So no new level designs, old character models, etc.
As for the original, original version of 1.0: I'll keep versions 1.05 and 1.06 available on Steam (on separate branches) and GOG for archival and preservation purposes!

Again, not quite how I planned it would go (I basically wanted to ship 1.06 WITH Accel Coda), but since Accel Coda is at this point a major rewrite of 1.0, I'd have to maintain two completely different codebases for the same game.
I wish I planned ahead a bit better when I started Accel Coda, but it is what it is ๐Ÿซ .

I'll probably make 1.1 available on Discord for Playtest purposes in a few weeks. And then I can finally focus on Accel Coda again!
