I like to share IG posts showing insanely cute puppers to my wife, who almost invariably asks, "and who is THIS cutie?" as if I am on 1st name basis w/ every dog on Earth, but b/c I know so many dogs in real life by name, she probably thinks I know their names too, so I just make names up for them

I always found it interesting to compare Sal's art to John's, and spot the similarities and differences in their style. Each is definitely his own artist, but the connections are visible. So many great moments of my youth illustrated by these guys. Happy birthday Sal.

So far Bluesky doesn't have spambot followers, but I've also only seen a fraction of my contacts move here; there's probably more but no way to sync a contacts list here yet that I know of.

Today I deleted my Threads account & uninstalled the app. Woeful algorithm, almost no engagement & its primary purpose seems to be flooding my follower list with pr0nbots (5-9 follows per day) that cannot be blocked, reported, or removed from the follower list w/o actually going into their profiles.

I mean, withholding Congressionally-approved foreign aid and, oh, inciting insurrection are also illegal but hey 🤷
