I don't understand Bitcoin. I don't want to understand it. I've played my investing game for 30+ years. I know what I'm doing, or at least I'd like to think I do. I've made mistakes. I've learned from them. I'm up 7.69% on the week. Monday was closed here. That's 3 days. Hope tomorrow is good too.

I research my stocks. I need
1. Competent proven management.
2. Mining in safe jurisdictions (ie Not Mali)
3. Insiders buying with their own money
4. Promising projects. (Drill results)
5. Proper price.
6. Big backers. (i.e. Eric Sprott investing big in company)

Investing. It's done low and slow. You don't put all your eggs in one basket. It's not a get rich quick scheme. If you know it's going to be a hard winter, and oil prices are way down, you buy oil stocks with a low P/E but positive cash flow in November. You sell them in March.

Look at Bitcoins chart since Trump took office. Should have gone up. Slowly...little dips maybe...but straight up.
Now look at gold's chart. I'm not saying gold will go straight up for the remainder of the orange moron's term, but there's a good chance. Investing...you go low and slow.

And the fact that Bitcoin doesn't follow set rules sends up huge red flags for me. With the US trillions of dollars in debt, global instability, government shutdowns, an incompetent, US government, if you say Bitcoin is what it is....why is it dropping? It should be above 200k.

This is what is mined. Bitcoin isn't "mined". I think the Bitcoin community likes that term though because it makes it sound real. It's created out of thin air with maybe tons of electricity. It isn't real. You can't hold it, or lock it in a safe. Bitcoin isn't mined. It doesn't follow set rules.

Didn't leverage anything. Look at global macroeconomics. Look at global instability. Then think about where to put your money. It ain't Nvidia or Amazon or Joby. The dollar weakens year after year. The yen is having a bad time. Where do have a safe haven investment wise? A hedge vs inflation?
