I'm glad that at least someone is trying to break the cycle of big kickstarters acting as pre-orders and free advertising. These big campaigns overshadow smaller creators and push the expected budget far beyond what new creators can afford.

Yeah, I forget my meds sometimes. I put them in my work bag so I can take them slightly late if I forget.

My best advice for working at home would be to separate sleep, fun, and work spaces. I've dragged my computer tower into the garage to make it feel different. Physical solutions to the problem.

Oh, also, I have a drink right at hand. I am a coffee addict, so I have my coffee and a water bottle at hand whenever I sit down at a computer. The act of drinking helps to appease my scattered attention. Plus, it keeps me hydrated, which helps in a lot of small ways.

Primarily, it's medication. If I forget my Adderall on a workday, I'm useless.

But other than that, my best advice is physical isolation from distractions. My house is the worst place for me to work on anything, because everything is distracting. I have to go somewhere else, anywhere else, to work.

It's dangerous when you make that calculus so often that you never actually get the time to do the second part.
