On this day in 1848, the first Women’s Rights Convention was held in Seneca Falls—right in Central New York. This historic gathering sparked a national movement for women’s equality and civil rights. We honor the bold voices who demanded change and continue the fight for justice and equity today.

We’re here at the Cultural Fusion and Literacy Day at the North Side Learning Center talking to folks about the services our office provides to the community. Come by and bring the kids to enjoy some delicious food, free books and more! The event goes until 6pm tonight.

I was proud to attend today’s Change of Command ceremony where LTC Gregory V. Humble transferred command of the battalion to LTC Allen J. Luna. As a proud Army Veteran myself, it was a pleasure to witness this time-honored tradition. I wish both LTC Humble and LTC Luna the very best.

Ending the day in The Village of Liverpool! I’m sponsoring tonight’s Liverpool Is The Place Concert, Born to Run! My staff and I had a blast working concessions and meeting with neighbors on this gorgeous evening.

Today, I joined Speaker Carl E. Heastie and Assemblyman Al Stirpe of the Micron Cleanroom Simulation Lab, currently under construction at Onondaga Community College.

We also had the chance to hear from current and former OCC students, whose stories and enthusiasm were truly inspiring.

I had such a great time at the Juneteenth Parade today! It brought me so much joy to see so many familiar faces and to celebrate this powerful day surrounded by community.

It was great to see advocates here at the Capitol supporting my bill, A.6648 that would ensure fair standards in mental health care, strengthening the law to make sure medically necessary treatments are covered and making sure approved treatments cannot be retroactively denied.

We were thrilled to be a part of Empower Parkinson’s ribbon cutting ceremony for their new Wellness Center in Liverpool. This will bring a great deal of hope and better days for so many living with Parkinson’s disease.

This week, I was honored to host our annual Women Veterans Celebration at the Capitol in Albany—a powerful tradition that holds personal meaning for me as a veteran.

Thank you to the incredible women who attended and the amazing organizations that came to support them.

Today marks the 81st anniversary of D-Day, a turning point in history when brave Allied forces stormed the beaches of Normandy to defend freedom and democracy.

We honor the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering determination of the heroes who fought on June 6, 1944.

Ever struggle to cancel expensive subscription services? It’s a drag. I helped pass a new “Click to Cancel” law that will require subscription services to provide simple cancellation methods. New Yorkers will now be able to get out of their unwanted automatic renewals with less of a hassle.

It was an honor to take part in today’s Memorial Day ceremony and parade in the Village of Liverpool.

So happy to make it back home in time for MACNY, The Manufacturers Association’s 112th Celebration of Manufacturing event at Onondaga Community College! It’s always a great time catching up with the great folks at MACNY as well as local leaders in manufacturing.
