Just remember what the roundabout painters are telling you, it's the lads in the boats that are costing you a fortune.

The boats are in water so that means your water bill goes up 36%

Nothing to do with the unchecked greed of water companies for decades.

When Adolf Hitler came to power he released his imprisoned supporters from jail, crushed social security programmes in return for tax cuts for the rich and sent his thugs out to arrest immigrants and minorities.

See any similarities?

Right-wing media fluffs Farage for years, to the point where he now leads the polls, and then start whining about Starmer being 'obsessed' when he starts telling some long overdue home truths. It's actually hilarious.

If I was an allegedly centrist Prime Minister of the UK who is facing being wiped out by fascists in a few years, I probably wouldn’t be building them infrastructure with which they can track & surveil citizens.

But that’s probably just me.

And yet - nothing about this is on the BBC main app.

It’s hidden under Welsh news.

Nothing in the Daily Mail, Express, The Sun, The Times.

Seems like Farage’s opinions on everything make front page news EXCEPT when one of his guys admits to taking Russian bribes….πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

So yes, UKIP/Brexit/Reform are all largely the same party

Brexit/Reform is literally the same party

Yes, Gill was very much Farage’s guy in Wales

The bribes happened during his time as Brexit party MEP with Farage

This is 100% Reform’s man

Hundreds of Alligator Alcatraz detainees drop off the grid after leaving site As of the end of August, the whereabouts of two-thirds of more than 1,800 men detained at Alligator Alcatraz during the month of July could not be determined by the Miami Herald.

More than 1800 detainees are missing after the closure of Alligator Alcatraz. Their families and lawyers can’t find them and they’ve vanished from the ICE database. Feels like this should be a much bigger story www.miamiherald.com/news/local/i...

⚠️This is the Jimmy Kimmel monologue that got his show pulled.

Not hate. Not celebration of death.

Just the truth: Republicans rushed to blame the left before any facts about the shooter or motive were known.

Keep sharing it. Spread the truth.

multiculturalism has been a success for the UK. Austerity should be blamed for failing the country. It's not a hard message to communicate

If Starmer and the Labour front-bench continue to sit on their hands and look the other way while fascism rises and multi-billionaires are calling for violence, then what exactly is the point of them?

13.09.2025 21:49 β€” πŸ‘ 108    πŸ” 19    πŸ’¬ 2    πŸ“Œ 3

Sky News says police are "overwhelmed by the numbers". Met coped perfectly well with 2x as many at the pro-Gaza rally, 5x as many at the anti-Brexit march, and 15x as many at London Pride.

They're not overwhelmed by the numbers. They're overwhelmed by the ratio of violent thugs in those numbers.

Starmer has the worst political instincts of any party leader in history. His entire strategy is trying to appease a bunch of people who already decided years ago they hated him. Meanwhile he's pissing off everybody who tolerated him.

Thanks to Mike (I think) for bringing this hilariously inaccurate piece of revisionist nonsense to my attention. As he says, it's difficult to know where to start, because it is so full of easily-refutable historical errors and false assumptions. But I'm going to try, because it's important.....

An Echo Chamber of Excuses Fans aren’t fools. We’ve seen how β€œalignment” really works. It means centralisation without responsibility.

Drawn from a supporter's response to the WRU's survey, this fan's view of the consultation process and the WRU's culpability for the state of Welsh rugby is damning. And far from unique.

If your news content teaches you that Keir Starmer is somehow personally responsible for a woman committing a crime, pleading guilty, and going to prison then it's probably not news at all, it's propaganda.

The BBC News website has pages & pages of coverage related to farmers protesting inheritance tax, including events where only a few hundred turn out.

In London yesterday 100,000 people marched for trans rights, and nothing.

Imagine if it was 100,000 anti immigrant activists, they'd cover that.

The Conservatives spent 14 years transferring wealth from working people to the upper classes, but you want to be mad at refugees. Not a brain cell between them.

Absolutely dystopian juxtaposition from the Guardian front page. Difficult to understand how anyone of decency and conscience can defend this government at this point. Just sheer moral degeneracy to arm a state that does this and arrest people for objecting. Wtf are we doing as a country?

If the WRU cut the Ospreys because Cardiff made a shit business decision I think I might just be done with the WRU and all they represent for good. I think my love of the sport is pretty well documented and but I'd be borderline on being done with rugby.

What better on a dull grey Monday morning than an exciting thread about financing!

With the WRU in the news again recently there's been a lot of talk about how they spend their money.

Most people will be aware that the WRU opened a hotel in Cardiff back in 2021.
