A big cluster of lavender colored stalks grow mostly straight up out of the ground.

Wow, that worked suspiciously quick. There's no way a human being reviewed it in that time.

Youtube says this image breaks their community guidelines and have removed the video. Apparently they think I'm trying to get people absolutely zooted on Sulphur Tufts.

I've appealed the strike but we'll see if that works.

I think this sums up the maximum I'm going to be able to create video-wise with the setup I currently have. I'm really proud of what I was able to do with some clever camera setups and transitions, though!

I'm going to need to start saving up for some better equipment in the meantime.

My hiking video is rendering and it sounds like my computer is going to tear itself apart, the remaining time keeps jumping wildly, and my room smells like hot plastic but I think this might work

They got it turned back on an hour after I posted this.

It's nice to live in an area with such quick turn around on power outages but it sucks to live in an area that has them frequently enough to require quick turn around.

OH BABY, that worked like a dream! Literal night and day difference between editing the two versions.

I'm using an app called Handbrake to try and hopefully bring the videos down to a renderable resolution but I'm not hopeful.

Otherwise it's all single track videos like the one I posted earlier until I can manage to scrape up $1k+ for a better computer that can handle editing.

Devastated to find that after getting all that hiking footage yesterday my computer can't handle multi-track editing. I suppose it was a bit of an ask for an old office computer.

Really glad I didn't start work on the longer hiking vid now.

Power just went out where I live and the storm is just getting started. Great.

I will never not be poor. I will never not be tired. I was born into this. It's outta my control. Surrendering to that was the first step to finding peace & freedom.
