Digital painting, fan art of the game "Baldur's Gate 3". There are two mind flayers in the image, The Emperor and Tav who transformed and became a mind flayer too. The Emperor sits in a chair and holds an intellect devourer Us, Tav stands near and reaches to Us with their hand. The light is warm and the scene seems peaceful, they are happy.

I also did the page end design for this edition -- very happy with how those turned out (it's more starry snakes). I think the cover ended up being one of my favourite pieces this year.

This is a personal work, the first one in years, I could manage to spend some time on it despite all my current works, but I needed to do it and the most important thing, it’s probably one of the paintings I enjoyed most in a while!
