Last week, the Maryland Energy Administration announced significant new investments in electric school buses and charging infrastructure, enabling seven school districts and private fleet operators to cut long-term operations and maintenance costs while reducing kids' exposure to diesel emissions.

The State Highway Administration will begin resurfacing on MD 410 (East-West Highway) between Chicago Avenue and MD 195 in Takoma Park on July 14. The work is expected to finish by July 18, weather permitting. Anticipate single- and double-lane closures Mondays through Fridays, from 8 AM to 5 PM.
