I need to clean my house, and start another load of laundry. The sink is full of dishes, the floor needs swept, and I’ll need to start dinner soon. But, Cooper is comfy. . .

I haven’t been #knitting as much, I figured out why. I went to a meeting where other knitters had their projects out a few weeks ago. They had beautiful, intricate projects, I had a sock. . . and a crochet hexi-cardigan that smelled like my dogs so I left it in the bag. I lost my mojo. 😩

My Alexa keeps striking up conversations with me out of the blue & I am not here for it! Today she told me I was old and it is a wonder to her that I am tech savvy enough to talk to her! Wow!😮 Look, I am an 80’s girl, I know what happens when Skynet becomes self-aware.

Ooor, to make 95% of the viewership go “Who?” Maybe it’s Andy Herein? 🤣🤣

I remarried in 2022 after becoming a widow in 2013. I went to the DVM to do the painful process of Changing my name. She went through all my documents & told me I could get my DL but not my Real ID because I didn’t have 1st Hubby’s death certificate!

I made it up. 🤣. They are toe up, but the leg is a knit 2 rows, 1X1 rib for two rows, to give it kind of an 80’s look.

I have an off-site training to go to, and I’m knitting these to match a blouse I bought to wear. So, my own imposed deadline I guess. Hahaha

Completely agree. They are also moving closer & closer to making this more of a Nickelodeon show from the 80’s, like a cross between “Double Dare” and “You can’t do that on TV.” It has about the same depth and maturity. 😩🤷‍♀️

New socks off the needles! The first is my “Neapolitan Shorites” because the yarn reminds me of the ice cream. The second is only half done (single sock) and they’re called “Quilted Scrappy Socks” but they should really be called “Knit Purl Nightmare” because I hate purling. Hahaha

I may have just chased some poor woman down the street at work today because I thought her dog was a Griffy and I wanted to pet it. Of course, said dog was a labradoodle not a Griffy & was terrified of the crazy colonial lady coming at it. But, yeah, that happened. Pic of my Griffy mix for context.
