I've honestly always bounced off the franchise. I even got cyber sleuth but never got around to it. Really want to try time stranger but its 80 dollars lol

somewhere in the middle is where I end up on this; there's a lot of great smaller games out there and they are a lot of fun, but there's also a lot of very competent great 'big' studio games too.

Sadly there's also games like Hades 2, who get to claim 'small' but suck
worse than main studio

Honestly the best game I've played this year is probably Silent Hill f (even if I think Hundred Line should be my #1) but the games I've had the most fun with are all like 10 dollars, and the most wretched game I've played this year was Hades 2, so.
