Proposed new healthcare plan: good news and concerns.

On September 6th, more than 100 OSA members, retirees, friends & families assembled to march in the 2025 NYC Labor Day Parade.

Folks held signs with this year's Parade theme "Power In Unity" and some with the message that the Washington regime should keep their hands off public sector workers.

On September 16th, OSA staff and officers visited MetroPlus for a chapter meeting.

Nearly 20 OSA members in person and dozens more on the Zoom chat.

OSA leaders and staff such Adam Orgel, Richard Steier, and Christina Chan addressed members in a great question and answer session.

In last week's second chapter meeting, held on Wednesday, September 10th at the Department of Design and Construction, OSA Vice-Chair Adam Orgel and Grievance Officer Christina Chan while OSA Chair Bob Croghan attended by Zoom on a TV screen of impressive size, as shown in one of the photos here.

It was a busy week for the staff and officers of OSA who took the union on the road at two chapter meetings. Last Tuesday, September 9th, OSA Vice-Chair Adam Orgel, Grievance Officer Christina Chan and staffers stopped by the Department of Corrections.

On August 13th, OSA officers and staff met with members in our NYPD chapter at 1 Police Plaza.

OSA Delegate-At-Large and Chapter Chair Kathryn Guarino facilitated the meeting. OSA Chair Bob Croghan attended by Zoom and Vice Chair Adam Orgel and Grievance Officer Christina Chan attended in person.

OSA member and activist Richard Brooms, a Supervisor of Traffic Device Maintainers (seen in the dark blue shirt in this photo) helped coordinate a team of Traffic Device Maintainers bringing Summer Streets to Union Square.

Thanks to Richard and his team for making Union Square even more welcoming.
