Exactly. Johnson is guilty of misconduct in public office if anyone is. Why hasnโ€™t he been charged not only for brexit but the whole time he was PM

Also why no charges for the PPE contracts for mates scandal?

Johnson time as Mayor & PM & even that famous party as FS would seem to me to have exposed him to at least investigation on multiple fronts. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

I'm still puzzled how charges of misconduct in public office, are never mooted against the figures, who were very much in public office and instrumental in delivering the clusterfuck of #Brexit, using all manner of lies and resulting in ยฃbillions of damage to the country.

Anyone?

What an embarrassment he is, no shame or remorse whatsoever for Iraq still and parroting made up crap about Gaza.

The only decent PMs still living are Brown and Major, the others should be stripped of all their rights and privileges of being a former PM.

Footage shows police arriving at Sandringham to arrest Andrew Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, the King's brother, has been arrested on his 66th birthday on suspicion of misconduct in public office

Farage is never more than a few feet from a TV camera or reporter to broadcast his โ€œreactionโ€ to events..

The farmers death duty, Chagos islands, Net Zero targets, Rayners house, Starmers glasses etc

Yet weirdly alleged misconduct in public office seems a subject heโ€™s got nothing to say about.. ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿผโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Weโ€™ve always been told that the American constitution is fantastic, because itโ€™s written down, and the British constitution is rubbish, because it isnโ€™t. Now we see that was a total lie. While even the brother of the monarch is arrested, Trump trashes the US Constitution with total impunity.

Brexit Britainโ€™s truckers bear the brunt of new EU border controls For many British drivers who rely on frictionless travel to do their jobs, the new checks could spell disaster.

Brexit wasnโ€™t a one-off rupture.
It was a choice to swap a seat at the captainโ€™s table for a life raft beside the ship.

Now EU border controls tighten and truckers, farmers, exporters and shoppers pay the price.

We punished ourselves and chose
third-country decline.

Staggering that 24% of voters in this advanced country continue to believe in a bunch of entitled bigots with unworkable policies, whose very ideas put us in the abject chaos we are in. Truly God awful idiots, and I make no apology for saying that.

Why is an organisation called โ€œUK Lawyers for Israelโ€ been allowed to intimidate the British Museum for (not incorrectly) using the word Palestine? Itโ€™s nonsense! The British Museum should be ashamed of itself.

This is why Starmer is still the best person for the job. Committed to NATO, committed to Europe. Not some ridiculous populist who wants to dismantle NATO and/or capitulate to Russia. Yes I could be talking about Farage or Polanski.

Johnson was fluffed and excused through every single step of his premiership. We cannot allow it to be forgotten how utterly damaging his time as PM was. He was a disaster at a time when what we needed was the very best of us. At his best he was a clown, at his worst he was a cynical chancer.

Labour are having a radical week. Not necessarily for what you think.

Theyโ€™ve introduced measures to stop MPs having Second jobs (or 9).

Theyโ€™re also introducing a restriction on donations to political parties from foreign donors.

Change is coming.

Expect loud noise.

Letโ€™s spare a thought for a migrant, forced to flee UK in 2020 to avoid paying taxes like the rest of us, despite being a billionaire..

Jim Ratcliffe hasnโ€™t just fled paying tax, heโ€™s turned against the UK

Fun fact - 73.1% of his Man Utd squad are foreign

So letโ€™s all agree he can fcuk right offโ—๏ธ

Yesterday Labour voted in favour of plans that will increase funding for local councils, move to muti-year funding plans so councils are better able to plan ahead, right of 90% of SEND debt and increase funding to tackle homelessness.

Tories, Lib Dems & Reform voted against. The Greens abstained.

The will of the rich and powerful: Brexit and the Epstein files The Epstein files reveal the role of Brexit in a global network which stands to gain from undermining democracy itself

The Epstein files show that Brexit was never a โ€œplucky British revoltโ€. In reality, Brexit was fed, and empowered, by an entire class of oligarchs and autocrats, who thrive on chaos, weak regulation and brittle institutions.

It is essential to call out every newspaper that is lying. However small, however large. We must not allow them to lie. Whether they call amendments UTurns or as in this piece say Streeting is on manoeuvres. The media are liars.
