Why should someone demand an investigation that already happened?

Q: I worry about legislation that stifles free speech to protect Israel. Is there a way groups here can link to resist?

Omar: when Minnesota pushed through anti bds legislation, they did it at 3am. Create an opportunity to put real pressure. It’s happening this week.

Omar: there is no way to be fully prepared… build networks… identify vulnerabilities… spread information, so people get rapid defense… for everyone who is documented…Make sure you have copy on you.

Q: recently we have noticed a lot of Ecuadorians are getting deported. I’m wondering are we being targeted because the people of Ecuador voted against a military base?

Omar: he targets a lot of people, so likely, yes.

Q: getting the files released was not enough. What are you and your colleagues doing to get those pedos?

Omar: the trump administration controls DOJ, so it is hard to believe there will be a true investigation until after transition.

Q: how can we support you more?

Omar: prayers are helpful, uplifting of support is helpful, but it is an election year. If you can give to the campaign to defend against AIPAC, please do.

Q: these demons can attack and crush us, what can we do to remove these demons from power?

Omar: we can unelect them, impeach them… I think it is important to remember that the human spirit is strong against oppression.

Q: what do you think of the SAVE act?

Omar: it might pass the house, but very unlikely to pass the senate.

This is a legit good idea. Make public funding of necessary things a competition, will get public interest.

Winning races after you let an overt fascist take power is not the proud achievement you seem to think it is. Centrist Dems lost when it mattered most.

Sounds like OP voted for those people, so did I. We want to vote for someone who is more than just “better than trump.” That’s an exceptionally low bar centrist democrats set for themselves. They fight hard in the primaries to make sure these low bar corporate shills win, then they lose to magas.

I also want them to win against fascists and idiots. The Democratic Party too often does not.

Every year they were in office they increased MPD and MCSO budgets more than the year before.

They made a deal with state republicans to pass a shared revenue plan that requires cities to never reduce police funding, then they increased it by record-breaking amounts.

This is local Minneapolis Police attacking ICE protesters. Not ICE agents, regular cops doing violence for benefit of ICE and Trump.

David Crowley and Cavalier Johnson expanded law enforcement funding and troop strength every year to prepare for doing this to Milwaukee.

Fuck them.
