I did govt comms in Ottawa for years. All the stuff you mention - long delays for a quote, trained seal Ministers, message control - has been supercharged since at least 2006.

I’m not an NDP supporter but I do know Tanille pretty well. She is very smart, hardworking and savvy. She would have made a great MP, but the LPC candidate split the vote (in a riding that hasn’t gone LPC since 1960) and racist Trump and Putin fan Aaron Gunn slid right up the middle.

The half dozen or so moderate centre right MLAs in the BCC need to run, not walk, as far away from that party as they can. Whether Rusty is leader or not, it is still a toxic mess of RWNJs, conspiracy theorists, racists and bigots, and a few normals.

I cannot imagine being one of these private property owners who -through no fault of their own - is now unable to sell or remortgage because of legal uncertainty.
The courts need to expedite this case for everyone’s benefit.

They should all be banned unless they create 100% of their own renewable energy and use 100% recycled water.

This is good but needs to be matched by stronger criminal penalties on extremists, which the recent Lich / Barber sentencing demonstrates is not happening.
