The Cultural and Political Moment for Toxins Research A longstanding push for urgent action on environmental toxins is landing in an unprecedented time in American politics.

For decades, researchers warned about chemicals harming children's health. Few listened. Now Kennedy's in the Trump admin, championing similar concerns. Birnbaum calls it a "dance with the devil", risky, but an opportunity too significant to ignore.

The EPA just approved the pesticide cyclobutrifluram for golf courses, lawns, cotton, soybeans, and lettuce. It's another #ForeverChemical โ€” one of a group called #PFAS.

Despite the vast agency furloughs, the pesticide office remains open for business.

Did you know that more than 1 billion pounds of pesticides are used in the US every year?

And they don't just disappear. They pollute the air, water, and soil long after they're applied.

Tell the EPA to ban #pesticides that other countries already consider too dangerous to use โžก๏ธ bit.ly/4otOUCz

So, basically do for drugs what we are doing for toxic chemicals. Guess what, it's a bad idea for both.
