I’m tired of being mad. Unfortunately, looking at the headlines *at any point* *on any day* indicates my anger won’t be going anywhere for the foreseeable future.

It took seeing adult bullies to understand that my childhood bullies didn’t even really want to hurt me, they just wanted to feel powerful and how I felt about it wasn’t even in the equation.

I can’t imagine someone not outgrowing that, but apparently it happens quite a lot!

America has not always lived up to its ideals as a nation, particularly with foreign policy. We must be honest about that.

This moment from both Trump and Vance was reprehensible and yet another move to support global autocracy.

We must continue to push for a higher standard from our leaders.

Donald Trump is embarrassing the United States on the world stage. We are a country that stands up to dictators and fights for democracy.

Minnesota stands firmly with our allies in Ukraine.

What if we become fascinated by the complexity of our kids, rather than worried about it?

Let's be willing to know our children as they actually are rather than to simply apply labels for behavior or symbols for their season of life.

Many kids are unable to make it to the public library. They can’t drive, often times the library isn’t in walking distance. It’s not that their grown-ups don’t want them to be library kids.
