I don’t think the current gen has given us all it can yet. Improvements to graphics in the new gen will be marginal. But I personally don’t need games to be more realistic than what we get with UE5. Most important thing is great games and new IPs.

I think there is hope for Canada though. In USA conservatives have been playing a long game since the end of segregation to undermine US institutions. They have spent billions on it. There hasn't been a parallel movement / campaign in Canada.

I have a Switch but I also struggle (a little) to take Nintendo seriously for this reason. A lot of their output looks half baked at full price.

Its a culture piece. You can argue that newspapers shouldn't dabble in cultural commentary at all. Or you could just avoid the culture section and stick to the news section.
