East Suffolk Council made the right decision in refusing permission for the mega-chicken factory in Shadingfield.
This decision protects animal welfare by stopping hundreds of thousands of birds from being crammed into cruel conditions & it safeguards the local environment.
As usual we will meet from 7pm for tea/coffee, cakes and a chat before the workshop session at 7.30pm. There will be a further break part way through the evening.

Our next meeting will take place at Westhorpe Village Hall, Church Road, Westhorpe, IP14 4SY, on Tuesday 9 September 2025. Instead of having a speaker, this time we thought we would opt for something a bit more collaborative.
Green Party councillors & members have carried out the second stage of rendering the cycling & walking path from Needham Market to Stowmarket usable again. The work has involved cutting back hedges & clearing earth & undergrowth to reveal the full path.
