I've been excited about this particular one - I debuted two tracks from Offthesky's upcoming release Nocturnas on Laaps records last night - another stellar release from the reliable French ambient label. (shows.amperwavepodcasting.com/trinity-univ...)

I learned yesterday that my partner, who I’ve known for over 28 years, thought the term “head shop” was just another name for a barber shop.

Sometimes I’m an asshole. Saw a terrific ambient/electronic set today in a small green house and for about half of it I thought “why can’t I get shows like this or be on labels like this dude”

Also also my partner and I are the only masked ppl everywhere we go. And surprisingly there are very few folks with colored hair in Iceland. Already got called “a geezer with green hair” by some British punter today. So I’m on edge in public right now.

I also just had to ask where the stages are as there are two here and i can’t read Icelandic

Every white 50 yro looks like my parents and then I remember they are 70 now and I’m almost 50. Eek

I’m always nervous going to smallish club shows in other cities but it always pays off. I will say the vibe so far here at this Icelandic bar is weird. A mix of like 20 something’s and like folks that look like my folks (who are probably more like my age. I forget how old I am )

I’ve never seen the tsa line so short at term 5. Literally took us less than 5 min
So we have 1.5 hrs to kill But every bar in terminal 5 is closed! So celebrating our first week of truly relaxing time in over like a month with some canned Oberon at the gate. Iceland here we come
