I don’t have a neat bow tie to this story, but I just think that’s a neat thought to imagine for the past 15 or so years, someone doing that, travelling & exploring the world. And checking in on their pizza shop.

He had somehow managed to buy it, then spent the last 15 or so years travelling the world, doing the lifestyle arbitrage thing.

Pizza shops are a simple biz.

Checking in now and again returning to NY, and I thought what fortunate timing to have bought into the village as it just took off.

Weeks before covid, a buddy and I went to a new (for us) pizza place in the village.

Cold winter night, after a couple of slices, get chatting with the owner.

It was a rare time he was in town, apparently he bought 15 or so years ago. And had travelled the world on his pizza dollars.
