Scientists reconstruct the tattoos of a 2,000-year-old Siberian ice mummy New imaging technology has allowed scientists to decipher the tattoos of an Iron Age mummyβ€”and study them like never before.

Tattoos are everywhere these days. (One student joked to me a few months ago that they weren’t getting one to be a bit different!) Research reminds us tattoos have been with us a long, long time.

Nice that this could be done in front of a home crowd. It was a golden era of British 400m talent.
