God tier album.

I’m not here to police anyone’s posting. I’m just saying that declaring “If it’s Gavin Newsom, I’m voting third party” puts his name into circulation as if that’s an inevitable choice we’ll all have to make.

Yeah, the "vote blue no matter who" party zealots are annoying, but I would caution against reinforcing their assumption that Newsome will be the Hillary Clinton or Joe Biden of the next primary season. He is not on their level.

Taking the bait set out by Newsome people lays the groundwork for the narrative they wish to bring into the primaries, which is that he is the frontrunner. Even his critics discuss him as if he's the one "the left" must beat. He certainly has some promising poll numbers, but it's still too early.

I immediately assumed this name meant "Stone Temple Pilots" guy, and thought, "how odd."

What if I started casually saying “mogging” and “canthal tilt” in public, purely ironically. Just for fun. Just for whimsy. Just to be WACKY. Just to let you know that I'm tuned into the darker side of the internet. Just to let you know I walk where angels fear to tread.

A huge portion of this movie is about how annoying Jackson finds his fans. His single "Bad" was only a year old when this came out, already parodied by Weird Al, and yet is parodied here for some reason.

I expected The Young Pope, but got Game of Thrones instead. By GOT, I mean that I was advertised "political intrigue" but it's all really basic and obvious. Somehow, the ending is both overblown and anti-climactic. Soundtrack is a snoozefest. Loved the actors though! (1.5/5)

It's very difficult for me to explain why this song has captured me. It's not particularly good. In fact, given that it is clearly propaganda for the French Air Force, it's evil.

But the dreamy vibe of it- the whole song feels like a stretched out chorus- the naivety of the singer... it hits.

Even in the very early episodes, I don't recall Marge being this bad Yes, she is often depicted as being overworked and anxious- but that's not what we're getting in the opening. She's casually reading a magazine in the middle of the grocery checkout.

Marge, uncharacteristically oblivious of her infant daughter in potential danger in a grocery store.

Marge, nearly running over her idiot husband, even though he is clearly visible just a couple of feet in front of her vehicle.

The Simpsons opening is great because in under 2 minutes, you're introduced to a core trait of each member of the family. Homer = moron. Bart = prankster. Lisa = artist.

But Marge? Marge loses track of baby Maggie and nearly runs over her husband with her car.
