I learned this when I started my first saltwater aquarium which requires RO/DI (reverse osmosis/deionized) water. I had to buy a RO/DI filter unit + a booster pump because my water pressure was too low to get past the DI filter.
Still only get about 1:4 pure:waste with the booster.
