3 Debutante winter camellia flowers. Less buds this yr but the plant is flowering 1 month earlier than last yr. Redoing the pot once this tree is done blooming n amend the soil again.

Ice and snow stretch out on Cape Cod Bay as far as my eyes can see. That said the stars and the moon with crystal clear beauty was apparent early this morning. Lovely to see the soft blue sky of today emerge. Temperatures feel warmer than yesterday. Hope has arrived.

Life guard on duty. Fortunately the ice is thick in the bay on the south shore of Lake Superior, so Finlay hasn't had to rescue anyone. 🙏😁 There is a virtual ice fishing village further out. We'll see what warmer temps bring. Stay safe out there!

Split rail fence snowed up to the top rail post. Vistas of snow and ice stretch to Cape Cod Bay where ice flows stretch without interruption. The wind blows through my jeans, making it feel colder than the low temperatures read. With each extra minute of sunlight and each degree of warmth hoped for this week I feel gratitude.
