My mom send me a paint that’s painted by my little brother and said it was awarded a some kind of award. Very nicely done, I’m proud of him. It reminds me my hometown and also Kamikochi (上高地) but turned out it’s modeled after Tateyama (立山). Still pretty awesome 👏

It’s so typical but my favorite Japanese author is Soseki Natsume. I read “Kokoro” when I was in middle school and I remember it hit me hard that the novel was so sad and profound.
