Can we talk about catchers “framing” a pitch from the top of the strike zone all the way to the bottom of the strike zone? Is this fooling anyone? How long has this been acceptable? I’m not talking about kids who are still learning. I’m talking about full grown MLB players doing this. #mlb #baseball

They’re sending troops to deal with peaceful protests but thoughts and prayers to deal with shooting incidents.

It’s maddening to look through my news feed and constantly see stories about Trump sending National Guard Troops to blue cities he claims are war-zones followed by stories of mass shootings happening in red cities.

In 2016 I was so naive. I really thought all of Trump’s executive orders would be Big Macs.

I wish it was standard practice that anytime you post an image of someone with a quote they said, you include a link to a video of them saying it, otherwise everyone can assume it’s fake.

Last week I bought $12 tickets at Busch Stadium and then sat here

But Bo was pulling the ball so hard into that left net that it was slamming this thick metal wall with a thunderous boom. On the other side of that wall was the parking lot.
One of the other players (I think Bill Pecota) was watching and suddenly said, "I better go move my car."

The best story about Bo was that he was hitting in a pitching tunnel that had netting that was right against the exterior wall of the building. Normally when you hit the ball into that net, the netting was tight enough that the ball didn't hit the wall.

The third one is Kevin Seitzer. Seitzer and my dad became good friends and when my family moved away my dad sold the business to Seitzer. Seitzer is currently the hitting coach for the Mariners.

The next is a Joe Carter bat. Carter was playing for Toronto but lived in Kansas in the off-season so he came out a few times. He was a really funny guy.

One is a Bo Jackson. Watching him hit up close was insane. The sound of the ball coming off his bat sounded different than everyone else. The pros would stop and watch every time he was hitting.

They’d hit in the cages or take BP in the pitching tunnels and if they broke a bat they’d give it to us. My dad had a collection of these at his house and I brought some home with me.
