I probably could do that, but honestly, this exercise is about the only hope I have of conquering my podcast backlog at this point.

I've never played UFO 50 before, so I'm really excited to dig in. But when confronted with BARBUTA as my first game, I decided to go about things the period-authentic way.

First new King of the Hill was okay, but I'm already exasperated by the contorted timeline. (Hank's retired at 49? Who raised Bobby if they left pre-pandemic? And so on.) Also, the Futurama-style eagerness to make satirical points about well-trodden stuff that happened during the off-air times.

On the plus side, I think it's cemented my belief that while this is a game I might not 100% very often, I can see myself running through the main campaign a lot more frequently than Mario Odyssey, because it has a better sense of pace.

I got done with what I can safely call "the story" today and am honestly astonished at people who were 100%ing the game that first weekend. It's huge!

But also yeah, the spoiler dam is leaking way too soon and I feel bad for so many DK fans who are just gonna have worlds, music etc. thrust at them.

Hey @discord.com - when I share an image to Discord on mobile, I get a checklist of one or more places I can send it across servers I'm in.

Since us nerdy types are often on multiple servers with channels for, say, Star Trek, it'd be great if you'd allow a "post to many" option that does the same.

Any TV or movie director: "Okay, what I'd like you to do here is shine that super-bright torch we gave you directly into the camera lens as you move through this shot. And-- oh, hey, what's that fast-moving blur on the horizon shaped like Chris Allcock with his fist outstretched...?"
