What it does have - and I'm genuinely sorry that I have been put in a position where I have to say this - is

This game has *it*. It has the Sonic Adventure juice. It has the Sonic Unleashed juice, though obviously it is inferior to either game.

But the blood runs through its veins.

I'm playing Sonic '06 because of the recomp for PC

So obviously it's a better experience than I would have had on PS3/360

The game occupies an interesting position in that it is obviously not as bad as everyone says it is

but it is still absolutely dreadful.

For what it's worth, fuming Goemon fans... pretty much all those games are fully playable and enjoyable in English. There are some minor sticking points but guides exist.

Fan translations also exist.

I'm still buying it though. Gotta have Goemon.
