3/3 it is impossible to pay for all the subscriptions. And I have a job, full-time. But at the end of the month, the bank account is just as empty as many others. So while I appreciate the rise and independent media a lot, I’m not sure it helps us. Now even media is a class system.

2/3 just how many things can someone subscribe to? People already tight financially and the subscriptions aren’t $.99 or two dollars a month but they are often 10, 12, $20. For one news source. For myself, I noticed that the information I want I can’t get unless I pay. But for me…

1/3 I think that the rise in independent, subscription based media will eventually lead to even more ignorance. Why? Because every time there’s something that is interesting and that I would like to know more about, it now requires a subscription. I get it, people need to eat, but…

That’s really the problem. Right now we don’t have any good options. Of course I don’t want the Republican to destroy our democracy. But right now it’s time for Democrats to show that they have a backbone and they haven’t shown that. So as I see it, right now there’s no good option.
