In ILE (Army Grad school) I used it specifically to poke holes in my arguments (Red-teaming, in Army speak), or to tell me when my arguments need more support. This was more a time/resource constraint shortcut than anything. I don't think it hampered my thinking at all.

Who has standing in this case (the SOUTHCOM bombings)?! Other than the victims, whose families seem powerless and without representation. Service Members looking for an injunction? Even if they were drug smugglers they STILL have legal standing.

You don’t replace the top judge advocates in every branch, sideline the SOUTHCOM JAG when they are telling you this shit is illegal, and then have a 4 star head of a combatant command resign…. If any of this shit has any legal basis whatsoever.

This seems so bizarre to me. My 7th grade daughter is in pre algebra, and my 10th grader is in Algebra II, and thy are leagues above where I was at the same time 30 years ago. We have such an enormous disparity of outcomes in our public schools it’s insane.

They lied about it. All of it. A thug cop shot an unarmed woman five times without justification, boasted about it to his colleagues, and then this administration tried cover it all up by arresting her and charging her with felonies.

I’m torn between this being obviously bad and wanting Waymo to muscle Elon out of this potential future market for him (Tesla robotaxis are significantly worse technologically and far more dangerous).

Even if what they say is true (and there are a billion reasons to be skeptical) trafficking drugs is not a capital offense and this is a war crime. It violates every part of the law of armed conflict (LOAC) and all the international laws.

Pretty sure this is what the SOUTHCOM Commander resigned over.
