im seeing more restaurants say โsandoโ instead of sandwich and itโs really pissing me off.
31.01.2025 16:35 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0When will the working class come together to fight this? Both parties in power don't care about our rights, safety, or security. They want to increase their power and close the door behind them. This is not a win and not the way to prepare the future of our country. It's selfish.
29.01.2025 19:50 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0So what would a move like this do? Allow the rich to shirk even more of their responsibilities while they are allowed to insulate and manipulate the stock market, buy up and redistribute housing, and further monopolize our economy.
29.01.2025 19:50 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0๐งตThe new HR 25 Bill (which I assume won't see the light of day) would remove the IRS and Federal Income Tax and make State Sales Tax is the lode bearing weight of US tax revenue. Reagan Republicans enjoy measures like this bc it benefits them- but what about the middle class?
29.01.2025 19:49 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 2 ๐ 0I mean, if I had my way none of these people would be in office & weโd have a public works oriented shift towards the wellbeing of our citizens instead of incestuous stock market and tech billionaires.
But if i had my way weโd have like Elizabeth Warren in the white house and Trump in jail lmao
Trumpโs halt on grants & funding is a travesty and a great example about how a certain class of people care more about shows of force than the lives and health of Americans.
There needs to be a /plan/.
We canโt just whiplash our whole community health & wellness industry. The margins are too thin.
I love how much the dems are ROASTING rfk at this thing and just like pulling quotes on his ass๐ญ
This is what happens when you talk shit about vaccines w/o any consensus behind you lmao. Granola Moms love you but the medical/legislative community DOES NOT.
Now, if he sits there as a Trump puppet or rolls back vaccine mandates, I wonโt support a second of it. But if he tries investigating pharma harming of people and addresses the food crisis, Iโll be happy.
Heโs gonna get confirmed, I just hope heโs better than most of the circus in our white house
lmaoo he has done more wild shit than Iโve ever heard.
I wish we had advocacy at a federal level for things like holding pharma accountable, policy reform, holding big corps accountable for eco concerns, etc. Trump Admin is full of crazies. Heโs the only one talking about anything I care about.
RFK Jr is my favorite person in the Trump Admin (low bar). I donโt agree with a lot of what heโs said, but he actually cares about the most important issues in our country, and clearly isnโt the type to sit by quietly.
Big Pharma, Factory Farms, Ecologocial Safety.
Iโll take what I can get.
Grrrrโฆthat pesky CHINA keeps beating us in tech! ๐ค
I know! ๐ค letโs tariff the worldโs leading manufacturer of chips. ๐ That wonโt kneecap our consumer market at all! And it definitely wonโt push Taiwan closer to CCP control either. ๐โโ๏ธ
whoa curse of Ra on socials is wild im so here for it
28.01.2025 05:53 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Expanding on my thread from earlier, Iโm talking about the realities of lagging US innovation and Chinese outperformance in the marketplace.
What will be the cost of deregulation on our public? And why canโt we best the CCP in the marketplace anymore?
open.substack.com/pub/classfed...
Itโs crazy how an open source program can so easily kneecap the entire game plan of our most lauded investment of the century.
Itโs almost like it pays for innovation to help the public as much as it does the billionaires.

We need more average people making their voices known.

In short, execs get to make record profits, our gov gets access to tech without lifting a finger, and we get stuck with the billโin our wallets, bodies, and public square.
If Congress did their job, weโd be protected & business would thrive.
Our health just doesnโt make anyone richer.
The model that drives big business is that predatory public practices, unsafe standards & fiscal manipulation give top-heavy businesses the profits they need to dev inventions that the US Gov uses in return for a lack of real government oversight on the safety.
27.01.2025 17:43 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Chinaโs clear dominance early in the 2nd Trump Era will mean a gloves off, high octane approach to governance. Deregulation has *never* benefited public health and wellness. There is a path that allows for both ingenuity & protection, but of course our government wonโt take it.
Why? โฌ๏ธ

DeepSeek is a great example in how China has learned to undercut us. They wait until Trump takes office, commits to AI deregulation, and stock backing soarsโand then they drop a superior, open source program.
Why donโt we create open source AI? Is it bc we care more about profit than ingenuity?
Trump only sees two sexes: Male and Female. What does that mean for the definition of โsexโ in regards to discrimination, hate crimes, etc?
I wrote an article about this, and the SCOTUS decision that might give hope to the future of protections for trans folks.

You canโt stop dissent in a country this divided & unhappy. The more you isolate radical views, the more radical the people will become. This can be good or badโitโs caused the furthering of the right but also that of the left.
People will revolt if they are unhappy. you canโt censor that away.
Unregulated tech pushes society towards a slow death. Amazon replaced the marketplace, social media destroyed leisure time, and AI will further this
We canโt afford to put massive tech interests over public wellbeing.
AI is not evilโbut it will be used to further degrade our culture for profits.
Itโll be interesting to see where SCOTUS ends up with all these EOs. Read my article on the binary sex thing?

perhaps DEI just drives a wedge between racial and social groups that makes it harder to surpass race/gender/etc and focus on the class war that is actually driving most of our suffering?
24.01.2025 23:28 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I read it more as him saying DEI was a divisive stopgap that stopped real steps towards class consciousness, but thereโs definitely a strange lack of likeโฆexplaining that? Redpilled Ryan?
24.01.2025 22:59 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0The govermentโs ONLY job is to take care of the population it serves. Education, Health, Housingโฆthese things should be a pride of our country. Why let certain states collapse while otherโs thrive?
Whatโs moreโthis would make it much easier for rich people to carve fiefdoms of control.
@jdchacchia.com what do you think? took me out seeing it on his feed but that itself made me think
24.01.2025 05:16 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I gotta assume his take is more nuanced than the comments are supposing. Ryan has put forth a lot of support for POCs and international victims of American Imperialism. Thereโs more than one way to support change in this country, and more than one view you can adopt in order to get it.
23.01.2025 21:10 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0The binary gender policy in his EO on DEI is scary, but at the very least that section could be thrown away because of Bostock v Clayton.
I wrote a bit about it here, and why anyone who supports the binary gender policy has an authoritarian view.
