Immediate subscribe. It has been so disappointing to watch what I thought were tech’s values evaporate in an instant. Mike articulates the logical but also somewhat craven reasons that has happened. I also feel the freedom to speak out in this role that I might not have in a corporate role.

Substack had a twitter like feed early on but they never really pushed it - I’ve been surprised how accurately that platform in particular picked up and replicated my TikTok follows.

A phenomenal CX turnaround case study I have felt firsthand. Lessons we teach all the time:
1. Actually use the system and be visible doing it.
2. Employees know what is wrong and employee recognition is a huge org change unlock.
3. Little rocks (fare gates) and big rocks (headways)

My client’s overeager sales rep just emailed: β€œUrgent: just talked to (analyst)” and when he called the rep back the β€œurgent” updates were that the analyst would love to keynote their conference in 10 months and a coverage change the analyst told us himself 4 months ago πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

It has been an incredible turnaround case study to watch. GM Randy Clarke running a change management master class in terms of being visible, customer and employee focused, and relentlessly driving CX improvements forward. I hope they can figure out solid funding because it’s a fabulous system

I was very excited for this gifted advent calendar - a little nightly mini puzzle for the next 25 days. Imagine my disappointment when I turned out box 1 and found… a mix of pieces from all over the puzzle. What the heck am I supposed to do with these every night?!?

Do I dump and re-sort?! 😩
