Immediate subscribe. It has been so disappointing to watch what I thought were tech’s values evaporate in an instant. Mike articulates the logical but also somewhat craven reasons that has happened. I also feel the freedom to speak out in this role that I might not have in a corporate role.

Substack had a twitter like feed early on but they never really pushed it - I’ve been surprised how accurately that platform in particular picked up and replicated my TikTok follows.

I'll write more about business stuff here and more about urbanism and other political stuff there... but on the off chance you are also into the war on cars, this was a fantastic listen.

A phenomenal CX turnaround case study I have felt firsthand. Lessons we teach all the time:
1. Actually use the system and be visible doing it.
2. Employees know what is wrong and employee recognition is a huge org change unlock.
3. Little rocks (fare gates) and big rocks (headways)

My client’s overeager sales rep just emailed: “Urgent: just talked to (analyst)” and when he called the rep back the “urgent” updates were that the analyst would love to keynote their conference in 10 months and a coverage change the analyst told us himself 4 months ago 🤦‍♀️

Has anyone made a PMM, product marketing or general tech GTM feed or started pack yet? Having trouble finding anything and this feels like the biggest gap from my old twitter feed. Are the sales engineers here?

It has been an incredible turnaround case study to watch. GM Randy Clarke running a change management master class in terms of being visible, customer and employee focused, and relentlessly driving CX improvements forward. I hope they can figure out solid funding because it’s a fabulous system

When jet lagged? DONT!!

I was very excited for this gifted advent calendar - a little nightly mini puzzle for the next 25 days. Imagine my disappointment when I turned out box 1 and found… a mix of pieces from all over the puzzle. What the heck am I supposed to do with these every night?!?

Do I dump and re-sort?! 😩
