I have a lot to do today and the world is challenging. The bright moments stand out more because of it, and I'm grateful for them.

There are many things going on in the world, but just now what I want to think about is how to celebrate my cat's 15th birthday.

He has everything he needs, a relatively delicate digestion, and is picky about treats.

He does like to tear paper, so maybe I can just give him wrapping paper 😂

I have so many pictures of him over the years, of course, but here he is now, just a couple of days ago, snuggling with me. He sleeps with me every night, and likes to have at least one paw on me. Such a sweet, sweet cat.

I'm lucky to have some baby pictures - he came from a feral colony my friend was taking care of. He was the last litter before she managed to spay them all.
